The Parisienne Girl is saying goodbye for a while

Hola a todos! Después de algo más de un mes sin publicar nada y sin que supierais de mi creo que lo mínimo es pedir disculpas, pero también quiero ser sincera con vosotros. Cuando empecé mi blog tuve un objetivo claro y es que esto se convirtiese en una parte de mi, y que fuese un lugar dónde poder hablar de las cosas que me gustan y sentirme a gusto escribiendo. Pero no todo sale siempre como queremos, este año me lo está poniendo difícil en cuanto a estudios y a organizarlo todo y no quiero que esto se convierta en una obligación más. Por otra parte quiero escribir y sentirme a gusto con lo que escribo, hacer las cosas con más tiempo y ganas y darle a esto el resultado que deseo. Con lo cual me tomaré un tiempo (corto relativamente) para centrarme en lo que tengo en mi vida día a día y en preparar entradas y el aspecto en general del blog, pero de manera un poco más relajada, ya que quiero sentirme a gusto con el resultado. En conclusión The Parisienne Girl estará ausente un tiempo, pero tened claro que volverá, con las pilas puestas y con ganas. Mil gracias a todos los que me habéis leído durante este tiempo, y sobretodo a los que estéis dispuestos a seguir haciéndolo.

Hello everybody! After a long time without knowing about me or posting anything, I want to apologize to each of you, but I want to be honest too. When I first started my blog I only had one goal with it, and it was to have fun talking about the things that I loved and the blog to be part of me. But not everything goes always as we expect, and this year is being really challenging in terms of studying and organization, and I don't want my blog to be an extra obligation. On the other hand I want to write and be satisfied with the result, do things with more time and give to the blog a better and refreshed look. In conclusion, The Parisienne Girl is going to be absent for a while, but have always in mind that it will come back, with more energy than ever. Thank you very much to everyone that has read me all this time, but especially to people that want to continue doing it.

Hola a todos y bienvenidos a mi primer post del 2016! Después de un 2015 bastante bueno estoy bastante emocionada por ver que me depara este nuevo año. Una de las cosas que de verdad quiero mejorar es el blog, empezando por cambiar algunas cosas. La primera, a partir de ahora escribiré tanto en español como en inglés, y la segunda, habrá una entrada por semana. Ya con mis estudios más en orden me dispongo a escribir este post, dónde os hablaré de mis 10 productos favoritos por menos de 10 € y haré una pequeña reseña de cada uno. Hello everybody and welcome to my first 2016 post! After quite a good 2015 I'm pretty exited to see what this new year brings me. One of the things that I really want to improve is my blog, starting with a few changes. The first one, by this moment I'll write in english and in spanish, and the second one, I'm going to post once a week. With my life and studies more organised I'm about to write this post, where I'm going to talk you trough my top 10 under 10 € favourite beauty products also doing a little review of each of them. El primer producto es una mascara de pestañas, una de las mejores por excelencia: Lash sesational de Maybelline. Tanto su cepillo como su fórmula se adaptan perfectamente a mis pestañas, dejándolas largas y rizadas todo el día. 

The first product is one of the best mascaras ever: Lash sensational by Maybelline. Both the brush and the formula fit my eyelashes perfectly, leaving them long and curled all day.

El segundo producto es un desmaquillante líquido, de la marca Diadermine. No llevo mucho tiempo con él pero es el mejor hasta el momento, en mi opinión funciona mejor que las toallitas, ya que no irrita la piel y deja menos residuos.

The second product is a Diadermine liquid makeup remover. I haven't been using this for a long time but is the best and the one that I trust at the moment, in my opinion it works way better that makeup wipes, because it doesn't irritate the skin and leaves better results.

Siguiendo con los ojos, el siguiente en mi lista es un eye liner de essence. La relación calidad precio es muy buena, dura todo el día y su diseño acabado en punta hace que sea más fácil de aplicar.

Following with the eyes the next product on my list is an essence eyeliner. The relation between the quality and the prize is very good, lasts all day long and its elongate design makes the application easier.

De nuevo, otro producto de maybelline, en este caso: Master sculpt. Es un dúo de contorno en polvo e iluminador, que viene con un espejo y una mini- brocha. Lo que más me gusta es el contorno, que en ocasiones utilizo como bronceador con una brocha de pelo suelto. El iluminador no lo uso tanto, pero si llevo iluminador liquido lo sello con esto, y da un acabado precioso.

Again, I have another maybelline product, in this case: Master sculpt. Basically is a contour and highlighting duo, that comes with a mirror and a mini makeup brush. What I like the most is the contour shade, that I often use like bronzer with a big fluffy brush. I don't use the highlighting shade for everyday bases, but I sometimes do with a cream highlighter under it.

Pasando a los labios tenemos dos productos estrella, que hidratan en profundidad y dejan 

los labios suaves y listos para aplicar pintalabios (si se quiere).

Moving into the lips we have two top products.They deeply moisturize your lips, leaving them soft and nice for lipstick (if you want to).

         

En cuanto a las uñas Rimmel es una de mis marcas favoritas, el acabado es muy bonito y dura mucho. Aquí os enseño dos de mis colecciones favoritas.

As for nails Rimmel is one of my favourite brands, the finish result is so beautiful and long-lasting. Here I show you two of my favourite collections.

Volviendo a los ojos, os traigo dos de mis paletas favoritas, una vez más de Maybelline: The Nudes y The blushed nudes. Ambas tienen tonos muy bonitos, con sombras bien pigmentadas y fáciles de usar. También he de decir que me recuerdan bastante a las Naked Palette de la marca Urban Decay (siendo una versión más reducida pero más barata).

Going back to the eyes I bring you two of my favourite palettes, once more from Maybelline. Both have wonderful shades, and the eyeshadows are well pigmented and really easy to use. Also, I must say that they look a lot like the Urban Decay Naked Palette (being a more reduced but cheaper version).

Ya casi acabando os enseño este corrector, Age Rewind de Maybelline. Es un producto fantástico, que si sois seguidoras de gurús de belleza estaréis cansadas de ver. Yo lo utilizo para la zona de las ojeras, ya que corrige e ilumina. 

Almost finishing I show you this concealer, Age Rewind by Maybelline. Is such a good product that I'm sure you're bored to hear about if you follow any beauty gurus. I use it for the under-eye area, because it reduces the dark circles and highlights at the same time.

El octavo producto son mi obsesión en cuanto al maquillaje: los gloss con color. Pese a que tiendo a comprar glosses de marcas muy caras (capricho que me gusta darme de vez en cuando) estos me encantan. Son de la marca LOLA, y tienen tanto un color como una textura muy buena.

The 8th product is my makeup obsession: lip glosses. Altough most of the times I buy really expensive ones (as a gift to myself) I love these. They're from LOLA (wich I believe it's only available in Spain), both the colour and texture are asome.

Para acabar con la entrada, os hablaré del último producto, que también es de labios. Hablo de los pintalabios de Rimmel de la colección de Kate Moss, que son bastante hidratantes y duraderos. Mis favoritos son: 111 y 03.

To finish wish this post, I'm going to be showing you the last product, also lip related. They're Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks, that are really moisturizing and last all day.

What I got for christmas 2015

Hello everybody! How did your Christmas day go? I really hope you all had a magical day! Mine was very good, I had the best time with my family and a lot of fun. But after these relaxing and festive days is now time to continue blogging.

As Santa got me some presents that are a little bit different from what I used to have (but I enjoyed them anyway) I tought that I would show them to you.

The first thing that I got were these really cool pajamas, wich are autumn/winter, with long sleeves. They're all really cozy, warm, girly  and fit really nicely (I have already released the last two). The first one is thiner than the others, I haven't released it yet but I find the design lovely. The other two are thicker, very warm, and perfect for winter.

In the same bag the last present was in, there were also this hair ties (kind of); they might look strange but if you have trouble trying to put your hair in a ponytail without any hairs out, this is perfect. I know the colours doesn't seem really attractive, but as I'm a brunette they look really good on me.

The next thing that I got are these two books, wich titles in english are: "The curious world of Calpurnia Tate" and "All the bright places".

Here it comes one of my favourite presents, a very fresh and sofisticated fragance that is called "Romantica". As you can appreciate in the photo the packaging is lovely and it comes in a tiny bottle with a little bow in the top.

Other of my favourites is this bracelet, wich is silver and completes every look with an elegant touch.

Finally I have this sweater, wich is a little shorter than usual. It's navy blue and fits perfect, I really like it because it gives a casual touch to your look but it still looks put together.

Christmas Inspiration

Hello everybody! As I said on  monday's post I had a mini post to show you, and that's what I bring you today: Christmas inspiration.

On this season we all know that decoration is one of the main things, and as I love decorating my house as I love christmas (for all of you who don't know yet I love it) I tought that what better to start with my "christmas series" than this kind of post. As I had so many things to do I had no time to decorate, so I spent this days on it. The result is this, I hope you like the photos and that you find something helpful if you haven't decorated yet, maybe if you want to add something to your decoration or maybe if you just want to have fun and look what other people do. Let's get into it!

The first thing, obviously is the christmas tree, probably the most common decoration. I feel that I have to clear out that my tree has lights all over it, but as I can't put them on for the photo it looks a little bit more boring. Also, I tought that I could include a closer look of the small figures that I did.









Then comes another tipical thing, a christmas sock. This is the one that I have ever since I can remember, but I still think it's really original and nice. I like to put it in the furniture, as I don't have any chimney. 

Another of my favourite things of this season are advent calendars, (they are basically chocolate calendars where you have to eat a mini chocolate figure every single day from de 1st of december to christmas day).

Candles are another of my favourite things, but in every time of the year. They are perfect for decorate any area, I love the smell that some leave and they make everything look more elegant (in my opinion). This ones that I show you are only for decoration, you can't actually light them, but I love them to decorate the living room or my bedroom.

To finish this really quick post I just wanted to show how I did decorate the stairs of my house, I got a closer picture because if I showed all the banister you couldn't see it, but is basically this all over.

Welcome back!

Hello everybody, and welcome back to my blog! It's been ages since I haven't post anything here, so I just wanted to explain the best I can why. As I'm in a very difficult and challenging grade this year it took me a long time to organize my homework and studies, and believe me when I say that I had no time to do something for here. I mean, I had, and I even attempted to write something, but as I'm a complete perfectionist if I'm not happy with the result I prefer to not show it. The second reason why I was "away" were personal reasons that I would like to explain, but as this is "social media"(kind of) I prefer to keep that for me.

When I started this blog I can't express how excited I was, and want I want to let you know is that hasn't changed. Now christmas break is around the corner, and I want to post as regularly as I can (I need time for myself, obviously). In my defense I will say that I have a mini-post prepared, but as I have exams this week I think I'm not going to post it before tuesday. 

Another time thank you for been here, although I've been absent the number of visits haven't stopped to increase, so I deeply thank you.

Haul: Atumn

Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog!
As you can probably tell by the title this is going to be an autumn haul, where I'm going to show you my new purchases and do a little review about them. So let's get started!

The first thing that I bought was this jacket from Bershka. I've seen this type of jackets in plenty of shops, and I really wanted to get one. It's surprisingly warm and perfect for those days that aren't really cold in autumn, but in my opinion you can still wear it with a coat in winter.

Next thing I really wanted to show you is this shirt that is one of my favourites at the moment, the print is really elegant and autumnal and is so soft. Also, is really loose and you can wear it in different ways depending on what style you want to create.

This shoes, they are in the same colour of the other two pieces that I showed you (as you can tell I'm really into burgundy this season). They have a platform that makes you a little bit taller (something that altough if you're tall like me, never hurts haha). They're just simple sneakers that are more dressy and complete every outfit.

Altough is new this coat is new, it has become one of my favourites in my wardrobe, is so warm and cozy, the colour is really easy to style and just makes me feel that I'm wearing a blanket.

This black jeans are my favourite. They are high waisted and really comfortable almost they feel like leggins. Also, they fit really nicely, definetly a must-have for me in autumn.

To finish this mini haul I wanted to show you the latest accesories that I bought, which are this silver rings, that I think that add an especial touch to your look.

Also, I wanted to explain you a few things:
First of all, my situation: when I created this blog I really wanted to be constant with what I was doing, but the past week when I was going to take the photos for this post my camara didn't work, so I didn't have anything to show you. I'm trying to get borrowed a new camara, (that's what I did to fix this for the moment), but because that camara is not mine I can't have whenever I want. Anyways I'm always writing in my notebook my ideas for new posts, and I'll write about them here when I can, something that I'm loving to do.
Second, I want to thank every of you for so many visits that I had, it made me exited and so happy that you were interested on my blog.

Hello everybody and thank you for clicking in my blog!! 

First of all I want to introduce myself, so for now I’ll tell you that my name is Alba, I’m 16  and I’m from Spain.

I’ve been reading blogs for quite a while now, and to be honest with you I never saw myself with one. But this year I felt that I wanted to do it, and after some time thinking about the whole idea I created this blog: The parisienne girl. Why this name? Easy: I love Paris. I’ve been there a couple times and I’m in love with every single thing, including the language.

But let’s get into the main point of the blog: fashion, beauty and lifestyle. I’m going to be doing different posts, showing you my style, the trends that I like and basically things that I love.  Also, I travel quite often, so I’ll show you things about that as well.

To end this very quick post, I want to say that I’m very excited (and a little nervous) about getting into this finally…

I hope you will like reading my blog as I think I will enjoy writing in it.
